Angus Robb

  • Wesley Anne 250 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

Join us for a night of soulful melodies and lyrical storytelling as Angus Robb takes to the stage to share new songs from his solo artist project.

You may recognise Angus as the soulful vocalist of bluesy folk duo ‘Jack The Fox’ whose song ‘Brother’ spent 3 weeks at #1 on the global Spotify viral charts and whose soaring melodies could be heard across some of Australia’s biggest folk festival stages. After some time away from music, a wild few years of Covid, the birth of his son and a flood evacuation this is Angus’ highly anticipated return to the stage.

Angus has never been one to shy away from the truth when it comes to songwriting, but recent life experiences, including the heartbreaking loss of his mother to cancer and the challenges of navigating his son's premature birth have woven a brand new tapestry of emotion into his songs.

Angus lays bare the raw essence of these personal trials, inviting you to sit beside him in his most vulnerable moments and shares the ways he finds his strength as a son and a father with unbridled passion and authenticity.

Accompanied by Leeroy Collins and Xander Theofanis, this will be the first time Melbourne has had the opportunity to see him perform his own songs - and with support from the mesmerising Gaia Scarf this will be an unforgettable night.
